What is a dental emergency?

Severe pain, infection, swelling or trauma.

Can I be seen today?

We aim to see emergencies promptly, either the same or next day.

What if I knock out a tooth?

Contact the practice immediately. Keep the tooth in milk (if possible) otherwise in a clean damp tissue. In children, re-implanted teeth often re-attach and grow again if done quickly enough.

Will antibiotics help?

An examination is needed to determine appropriate treatment.

What happens next?

Any required follow-up care will be explained.
